4B and Chris Brown have come together for their latest collaboration ‘Did You’. Out now via Ultra Records, the track follows the jersey native’s last single, ‘Bang Bang’.
Robert Mckeon Jr. also known as 4B has made some tremendous noise throughout the past years. From playing at local clubs in the tri-state area, he has gone on to play at the biggest festivals over the world. His hard hitting sound for one has his fans going off at any of his shows. He isn’t shy to stray away from his comfort zone either as we’ve seen his recent genre hybrid releases such as ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘Told You’. And now he’s showcasing his diverse production skills in one of his most emotional singles to date with ‘Did You’.
Starting off with Chris Brown’s sultry vocals, ‘Did You’ is a heart throbbing piece about heartbreak and regret. As Brown belts out a resplendent ballad, 4B brings the production back to his jersey house roots. As an upbeat tempo and dance-able synths lead up into the chorus, the RnB star laments over the lost romantic opportunity, ‘Did you let somebody hold on to you? The way I would? The way I would?’
