It’s only been two weeks since Genix had entranced fans with his powerful set in Prague for ABGT350. While we’re still trying to hold on to those magical moments, the trance DJ has given us something to look forward to. Just last week, Genix had announced that he will be in charge of mixing Anjunabeats Worldwide 09. This week, we get the full track list as well!
The compilation album is slated to be released through Anjunabeats on December 13. While it features a solid trance roster including tracks from Above & Beyond, Grum, Mat Zo and Fatum, it also introduces some fresher names, notably Matt Fax and Art Bastian, both of who helm darker sounds.
Having played several of the tracks such as ‘All In (Sunny Lax Remix),’ ‘Ba55 Camp’ and ‘Rave Daze’ in his highly-commended ABGT350 set, Genix sure knows how to build up anticipation for the album’s release. A particularly noteworthy track is Genix’ rebooted version of ‘Kinetic,’ as many consider this a rave classic. The original was released by Golden Girls back in 1992. This is just one example of how the trance legend based this album on intertwining the past, present and future.
Besides mixing the album, Genix will also be taking Worldwide 09 on tour this winter starting November 22. Tickets will be available for sale on the official Anjunabeats site on October 25.
