YouTube “Create A Queue” Feature In Beta Mode

Just when you thought your productivity has hit rock bottom, YouTube has come out with a new “Create a Queue” feature. This will allow users to “add videos to [their] queues and control what plays next.” I guess we can get back to work after one more video. And another.

This function is already widely used on audio streaming platforms such as Spotify. There is no doubt that the queuing feature will also be loved on YouTube. While the queue function is still in beta stage, YouTube is giving its users a chance to try out this new feature until September 10 and to provide your feedback!

There is a new button allowing you to add any video to your queue without having to create playlists (as was the case previously).

Click onto that and voila – your queue will show up on the top right corner of your screen (on desktop).

So before you fall into the ever-so-deep rabbit hole of YouTube videos, head over to give some feedback to ensure that this much-needed feature is here to stay! And if my choice of YouTube videos got you craving some Armin van Buuren sounds, here’s his ASOT Ibiza 2019 compilation. You’re welcome!

Stay tuned for further updates on the YouTube queue feature!
