This new release from Lost Frequencies and Mokita could be the next groundbreaking song for both of these artists. Although Lost Frequencies usually makes deep and tropical house, he’s been exploring a new sound and we’re here for it. ‘Black & Blue’ incorporates a variety of elements with the help of Nashville-based and talented multi-instrumentalist, Mokita. The combination of guitar, beautiful vocals, and high pitched synths produce a catchy melody. It’s definitely not your typical house song, but it opens up the emerging artists to a broader and bigger audience.
‘Black & Blue’ is the first song on Lost Frequencies’ forthcoming second album, Alive and Feeling Fine. The album is scheduled to release October 4th, three years after his debut album Less is More. The house artist has also been touring the world and performing at venues like Tomorrowland where he even hosted his own stage.
The song also comes with a well-produced music video; it follows Lost Frequencies on his tour adventures, while showing his comedic side. The thumbnail says it all. Make sure to watch it down below!
