Another day passes-by and there are still no new releases by The Swedish House Mafia, but that might change soon. While Underneath It All is already popping up on Shazam, “It Gets Better” is popping up on some official listings. The track just appeared recently on the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers’ website (ASCAP). This doesn’t necessarily mean an imminent release, but we’re not very far.
The track is pretty familiar if you were following the Swedish House Mafia tour this summer. It has been their intro for all their shows and the fans love it. According to ASCAP, the writers’ list includes, of course, the Swedish trio. In addition, we see also a big part of the Axwell & Ingrosso team with names like Klahr, Magnus The Magnus and Richard Zastenker.
We all thought new music would be coming on September 6 when the Swedish trio teased this date during Creamfields. After all, it was not about a musical release but rather lifetime passes for the SHM shows.
Even with the quality of this production, the disappointment among fans is at its highest. After one year and a half of the reunion, no tracks have been released, only a few IDs were played, and many cancellations occurred in the already light summer tour. We hope this will change soon.
