As heard on Anjunabeats Volume 14, ‘Boom Box’ provides a classic sounding tone. This certainly fits the sound he’s been crafting considering his earlier release of ‘Open Your Eyes‘. Differentiating itself ‘Boom Box’ delivers on a modern twist on the production aspect. Regardless, Genix produced a piece of music which flows through its sounds and emotions in a seamless manner. From the restrained introduction and distant vocals, it falls into a soothing breakdown. Onwards, the track takes a hold of a more uplifting tone pulling back to its techy dance outro.
Throughout this year, Genix has certainly been a producer to keep an eye on. From the many releases to breaking the world record for highest altitude DJ set on Mount Everest, he shows no stopping. With the year going by, the Anjunabeats mainstay has a couple of shows lined up for November and December. For tickets or more music, you can visit his website here.
