This past August, Creamfields took the UK by storm again. Next year, it celebrates its 15th anniversary from August 27th – 30th in Daresbury, Cheshire. Inasmuch, it will also be getting significant upgrades to key areas for an even better experience.
What’s Coming?
Cream, a Live Nation subsidiary, will be investing $2.5 million towards improvements in security, staffing, and car park CCTV. This means 24 hour manned patrols and a night watch that shouldn’t fail you. Secondly, other investments will go towards installing a new water supply, ring main system, and more water points around site for ultimate hydration. Thirdly, better wayfinding signage, improved shower/toilets, increased sanitation staff and visibility of welfare staff will ensure the event arena and campsites are covered. In addition, 24-hr accessible Info Hubs in each campsite will be new and ready for your use.
Managing director, Scott Barton, is behind the magnificent changes. With recycling initiatives, incentives, and a potential increase in campsite, CF15 is your next festival to be.
“These changes and improvements are just the beginning of what marks a new era for the festival and Cream HQ will be updating fans with what they have in store throughout the process” – Scott Barton
Therefore, the play by plays are forthcoming and we cannot wait. At 70,000 capacity this year, it sold out with a killer lineup featuring deadmau5, Fatboy Slim, Martin Garrix, and more. Swedish House Mafia nailed it, along with Tiesto, Amelie Lens, and the Chemical Brothers.
“It’s with this commitment to delivering the best possible show that 2020 will mark a new era for Creamfields”
