Instead of a post about live performances or his Drumcode radio mixes, Adam Beyer shared something different on his Instagram page. The post is screenshot of a heartfelt apology message from a fan, who threw a plastic glass at Beyer’s head during his recent Cercle debut at the majestic Théâtre Antique de Lugdunum in Lyon.
Adam Beyer is fairly interactive with his fans via Instagram and other social platforms. Therefore, it was smart for this fan to reach out to him in this manner. Being the sweetheart that Beyer is and given the sincerity of the apology, he accepts it (with a thumbs up!). He even adds a little note to remind us it’s okay to admit to and acknowledge our mistakes.
This also serves as a reminder for all of us to be respectful and courteous at shows and festivals. Our actions and decisions have a direct impact on others. It is up to each and every one of us to hold one another accountable and to right our wrongs. Props to this fan for admitting to his mistake. As a result, we can only hope this inspires others to do the same.
