VOID was apparently one of Eric Prydz‘ most secretly guarded shows. Announced for Creamfields 2019 at the beginning of the year, there was virtually no indication of what to expect leading to the build-up at the legendary Steel Yard megastructure.
‘Visual Offset Isometric Design’, the full expansion for VOID, as well as a tweet by the man himself about the set-up didn’t give away much either. Consequently, the mystery lingered, until we were finally able to witness the grand spectacle on 23.08.2019.
The heroics of a YouTube user who goes by the name of djhowie38 has just been unfolded. The majority of the spectacle was covered using a handheld camera, much to the satisfaction of Prydz’ fans around the world. By the same token, this Creamfields set is one for the books.
To add to the delight, the track-list seamlessly blended with the special installations lighting up the night. Moreover, Pryda classics like ‘The End’, ‘Rebel XX’, ‘Stay with Me’ and a few known and unknown CirezD scorchers like ‘Voided’ contributed to the special night. Undoubtedly, the end result was an exceptionally crafted visual brilliance that can be watched over and over again.
Without a doubt, we are simply getting jealous of all the ones who attended and witnessed it live!
