Partaking in art | werk records‘ ‘TEAMWORX vol.1‘, VONDA7 and Raito collaborated on a new track titled ‘Surrender‘. In this collaboration EP, label founder Vonda7 merged her sound with a grouping of techno artists. Other than the featured Raito collaboration, the predecessor tracks host NRVVS and Elisa Bee, allowing an exploration of contrast styles within the techno realm.
Let’s zoom into the focal track ‘Surrender’. It happens to be VONDA7’s second collaboration with Raito. Previously, they crafted their sounds together on ‘Time Is Gold‘, which was released via We Are The Brave imprint. Fast forwarding to today, ‘Surrender’ offers an ethereal aura with an acidic sound. Underneath all these elements, the powerful and bottoming kick shines through maintaining the thumping dance groove. Elegantly combined, the track offers a perspective allowing both producers’ touch to uphold what they’re great at.
Raito quickly made his mark, and you might be familiar with him through his previous releases. He’s recently collaborated with Spencer Brown on ‘Star Allies‘ which found its home on Mau5trap. Furthermore, the producer crafted a banging remix of Virtual Self‘s signature ‘Ghost Voices‘. To pile on, you can hear more of his music coming out soon on Suara on the ‘Deep Down Inside EP‘.
