2019 has been the year of collaboration and crossover between different musical genres. The newest crossover we can expect is between the Zac Brown Band and Skrillex, as he is featured their upcoming album The Owl.
EDMTunes reported back in late July about this news, but now Skrillex has finally opened up about working with Zac.
If you know me you know I love working on all styles of music .. but this was on another level for me . ZAc Ur a legend 🙏🙏 https://t.co/CegAD0vaXk

According to an article by Chris Parton on the website “Sounds Like Nashville”, he states:
“Brown says his group will continue down a road of sonic exploration, collaborating with a wide range of collaborators like Skrillex, Andrew Watt, Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, Max Martin, Benny Blanco and Ryan Tedder, among others.”
The Zac Brown Band has made it known in past interviews about their interest in electronic music. In fact, they actually co-wroteAvicii.
From NGHTMRE collaborating with A$AP Ferg, Kayzo with Our Last Night, and Marshmello with Kane Brown, we have seen all types of artists joining forces.
Skrillex has made a massive reemergence this year into the dance music world. With each release, he proves his wide array of talent. His experimental style provides an expansive canvas for him to work with all types of music. For example, one of Skrillex’s most recent collaborations is with Ed Sheeran. Another is with MC Lan, and TroyBoi.
We are stoked to see what Skrillex contributes to the Zac Brown Band’s country sound. The Owl comes out on September 20th.
