On Saturday, August 10, 2019, Seven Lions threw down one of his best sets to date during Montreal’s beloved IleSoniq at the Parc Jean-Drapeau.
Some of the American DJ’s other diehard fans were looking forward to seeing him perform at Moonrise Festival, however, he was forced to cancel.
His followers started to flock to social media to demand answers, especially since Montreal is less than a 2-hour flight from Maryland.
Jeff Montalvo, AKA Seven Lions, quickly took to his official Facebook fan group to release a heartfelt explanation as to why he didn’t make it to his scheduled set.

Although it appeared that his army of fans was the one who was the most disappointed by his lack of presence, Montalvo made it clear that he was even more devasted by this situation.
Traveling the globe is no easy task. Hiccups will happen. We believe it’s safe to safe that we can let this one slide, and his followers should be a lot more understanding.
We all have to keep in mind that DJs are human beings. Although it may just seem like a job to most, hours on hours of passion and hard work goes into everything that they do.
