Is there anything that Justice has not done? The duo has been dominating in the electronic world for 10 years and shows no sign of slowing down.
In 2007, the debut album, Cross, from Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay was nominated for the Grammy’s Best Dance/Electronic Album. 11 years later, the electro producers had their latest album, Woman Worldwide, successfully win the category.
Most recently, they embarked on their Woman Worldwide Tour that actually did go, you guessed it, worldwide.
Now, the band will be introducing a new way to showcase their Woman Worldwide tour!
Footage from the show has been artistically put together in order to create IRIS: A Space in Opera.
The 60-minute film was recorded in a completely empty venue to showcase their creativity, success, and music to their most dedicated fans. Their most recent stage set up used vast amounts of glitchy and intense lighting yet the performers remained eerily still at their respective DJ decks.
The film was first shown in March of 2019 at South by Southwest. Finally, some of us will be able to view the film only on September 10th, 2019.
It will be shown in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, and San Diego! See a full list of cities, dates, and times here.
Check out the trailer below! See for yourself how this trippy, sci-fi-inspired, single projected movie is sure to completely captivate audiences on that day.
