Facebook has dominated the social media world for many years. Now, the Facebook team is implementing name-changes to Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp; so there is more clarity of their ownership of the two applications.
Instagram and WhatsApp will be renamed to ‘Instagram from Facebook‘ and ‘WhatsApp from Facebook‘. Although these changes are small, they are going to be major for Facebook as a whole franchise.
