This weekend, EDM supergroup ‘Swedish House Mafia’ performed at Austrian ‘FM4 Frequency Festival’. Now, it looks like the Progressive House trio might have a new objective in mind. This Sunday, house music label’s boss ‘Axwell’ hinted at a brand new ‘Swedish House Mafia’ USA tour. Replying to a comment from Instagram’s user @pandoerra on a post made regarding the trio’s performance at ‘FM4 Frequency Festival’, the Swedish DJ implied that a ‘Swedish House Mafia’ Stadium tour might be on the way.
So far there’s no confirmation nor statement from the group as of when will this tour happen. In addition, there’s still a lot of doubt surrounding the group’s performance. Early in the year, the Swedish trio started their new tour with three shows at Stockholm. After that, the trio performed one show in Mexico City. However, after a couple cancellations some fans have started questioning the Swedish’s trio motives for this ‘reunion tour’. A month ago, Swedish DJ/Producer and group member ‘Steve Angello’ got into an argument with an Instagram user. The user complaint about the group not releasing any new songs.
‘Swedish House Mafia’ will play their next show this Sunday at ‘Creamfields Festival’. The show has been declared as the group’s “Biggest Show to date”. Certainly, ‘Axwell’, ‘Sebastian Ingrosso’ and ‘Steve Angello’ remain a trending topic in the EDM industry. Now, all we can do is wait and see if a USA tour or any new tours are scheduled to take place in the future.
