Slow Magic presents us with the project’s first original release this year titled ‘Dreams Pt.1‘ hosting two tracks. Within the producer’s output, you’ll hear ‘Daydream‘ track featuring Julianne Hope. Adding on to that, the second track is an instrumental titled ‘when it rains but the sun is out too‘.
Hopping into ‘Daydream’, the distinguishable masked Slow Magic introduces the track on a snappy note. Setting the vocals atop the instrumental elements gives the track quite a whimsical inventiveness. Passing through a dreamy build-up, the track rises into a bright padded chorus with vocal chop scatterings. Holding it together, Julianne Hope delivers a toned-down and cozy vocal elevating the overall feel. Jumping from there, ‘when it rain but the sun is out too’ creates a somber atmosphere. As the name suggests, it would be great song for a sunny and rainy day. Combining many of the producer’s sounds, the track combines a sense of longing with a hopeful touch.
Regarding the Slow Magic project, the producer began this journey with his debut album titled ‘Triangle‘. Having taken off, Slow Magic toured alongside artists such as ODESZA, Giraffage and XXYYXX.
