Back in June, we reported that Dog Blood launched a design contest. The winner of this contest wins a cash prize and recognition from around the globe. The goal of the Fan Forge-powered challenge was aimed to design an original piece inspired by Dog Blood. The winner’s art will ultimately be made into a 3D figurine.
Recently, Skrillex – otherwise known as half of Dog Blood – jumped online to disclosed the winner of the exciting contest. Alexander Ridha, better known by his stage name Boys Noize, was asleep during the recording. Skrillex grabbed the viewers attention by putting Alex’s face on a banana so he could be part of the announcement.
Although this act was bananas, the winner was unveiled. Join us in congratulating Elena Fortune, who submitted 3 variations of her design titled ‘Big Eye Vinyl Friends.’
