Marshmello has made nothing short of power moves through the entirety of 2019 so far and now he’s making his next big move to William Morris Endeavor (WME).
The agency is not new to electronic music artists signings and handles the bookings of other large acts. Some of the artists WME represents include deadmau5, Martin Garrix, Zhu and Madeon.
With Marshmello’s move to WME, he leaves United Talent Agency (UTA). The DJ first joined the agency in 2018 when UTA acquired Circle Talent’s electronic artist roster. During this acquisition, UTA obtained Kaskade, Excision and Illenium, in addition to Marshmello.
At this time, Obi Asika-Iweka at Echo Location Talent Agency will still represent Marshmello for touring in Europe. Moe Shalizi will continue to manage the Spotify top 10 global artist.
The addition of Marshmello to the WME roster is nothing short of a lucrative deal. The DJ just recently announced a $60 million two-year residency at KAOS Dayclub and Nightclub at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In terms of star power, Marshmello created a collaboration with the marshmallow brand Stuffed Puffs that sold one million bags of chocolate filled marshmallows at Walmart stores in less than 24 hours.
Other recent accomplishments for the artist include the release of Joytime III on July 3rd that sits at No. 4 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart and breaking 37 million subscribers on Youtube.
