The Ukranian duo ARTBAT graced the BBC Radio 1‘s airwaves this past Saturday, June 13th. This has been a big year thus far for the eccentric melodic techno and deep house duo. Hailing from Kyiv, members Artur and Batish continue to gain momentum from their powerful, innovative sounds in melodic techno. They’ve had some massive, chart-topping tunes played around the world by artists like Richie Hawtin, Solomun, Maceo Plex, and more.
Starting out in mid-2015, Artbat’s rising success has earned them global recognition from the techno community. With chart-topping songs following their Dynamic EP, Artbat’s sound can be heard at clubs and festivals worldwide. Their songs continue to pioneer many renowned artists’ sets like Tale Of Us, Deadmau5, Marco Carola, and many more. Their debut on Pete Tong’s BBCR1 Essential’s Mix sets further stones ahead of their influence for techno lovers and the like.
