Out now on Anjunabeats are two new releases from Maor Levi titled ‘Take Your Love‘ and ‘Disconnect‘. He is one of the original members and artists responsible for the label’s modern sound. Today, he is debuting his first solo outing in two and a half years.
‘Take Your Love‘ is an upbeat, progressive tune with breaks of ambient melody. An angelic voice sings and it echoes into the background. This track strikes you with emotion as it builds. Once it drops, this classic, high energy trance piece takes you to its heavenly end.
‘Disconnect‘ is another progressive piece with deeper tribal sounds and breaks. Its aggressive bass comes to a halt shortly at the beginning. The melody slowly builds up for at least a minute and a half before the drop. Hearing the drop, it fills that disconnected void of the buildup. Breakbeats towards the latter end of the song propel our bodily movements forward. Hot off the brand new Anjunabeats Volume 14 compilation feel that UKG sensibility to the groove with this one.
Fans have been waiting for these productions since its debut at Above & Beyond’s Hong Kong ABGT300 show. After quite some time, he also performed it at his Utrecht and Madrid A State of Trance shows. It’s causing quite the excitment.
These bold singles follow his recent collaborations with ilan Bluestone, ‘The Distance’ and ‘Will We Remain?’. He’s no amateur to the game as he also has a release of singles on Armada Music. His return to Anjuna is yet another innovative affair we are excited to see.
