The annual Dirtybird Campout 2019 is back, which means summer is finally here. It’s the biggest sleepover of adults who are obsessed with house and dirty techno, but get ready for some cross-genre mixing as well.
They’ve just announced their 2019 lineup, and it’s one for the books. The performances include your favorite Dirtybird players Claude Von Stroke, Justin and Christian Martin, J. Phlip, Ardalan, and more. R&B singer Jhene Aiko, former Jurassic 5 slayer Cut Chemist, and Mija will also be joining the festivities. Reggie Watts and John Tejada make up Wajatta for a great live show. If you’re there a day early, treat yourself to Tiga and Matthew Dear. Shiba San, Walker & Royce, Kill Frenzy, Sage Armstrong, too—need we say more? This is the place to bring your best friends and enjoy artists playing music for their friends too!
Our Dirtybird flock knows this is not just a concert, but also a full-fledged weekend of summer camp activities. Break out into your color-coordinated groups and compete for the most wins of the weekend. Dodgeball, tug-of-war, archery, costumed boat and 5K floatie races await you. Plus, indulge in that delicious BBQ with your favorite artists!
What to Expect
With over 70 artists, there is something for everyone, make no mistake. But all of the world-renowned talent listed will make you want more. As quite a unique festival experience, your counselors are also your favorite DJs. Make your own itinerary, express your truest selves, and embrace your deepest passions. Dirtybird Campout is about spreading positivity to the community while having fun. Where else can you intermingle with the performers or challenge them to a beer chugging contest? Nowhere!
Returning to the Modesto Reservoir Campgrounds in Central California, the event takes places Friday, October 4 to Sunday, October 6. Enjoy some art, make new friends, get dirty, get weird, and dance until your feet throb.
