NGHTMRE & A$AP FERG – REDLIGHT
DJ and producer NGHTMRE continues to masterfully bridge the gap between EDM and hip-hop. ‘REDLIGHT’ with NGHTMRE & A$AP Ferg, via Ultra Records, proves this fact. ‘REDLIGHT’ follows two other hip-hop meshed tracks from NGHTMRE:’TTM’with Wiz Khalifa & PnB Rock, and ‘BANG’ with Lil Jon & Shaquille O’Neal.
NGHTMRE’s undeniable talent continues to radiate with every track he releases. ‘REDLIGHT’ features A$AP Ferg’s iconic, charismatic bars alongside hard-hitting bass. This collaboration has such a natural flow to it, and NGHTMRE himself has spoken out about the process of bringing this track to life. He says,
“A$AP FERG IS ONE OF THE HIP-HOP ICONS I’VE ALWAYS DREAMED OF WORKING WITH. IT TOOK A LOT OF TIME AND EFFORT TO REALLY MAKE THIS RECORD COME TOGETHER, BUT THROUGH THE PROCESS, I’VE GAINED EVEN MORE RESPECT FOR FERG AND HIS VISION.”
The collaboration between NGHTMRE and A$AP Ferg does not stop with the track. In addition, the two teamed up for a dope music video, which takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting. Check it out down below.
In regards to the filming of the music video, NGHTMRE added,
“THROUGHOUT THE SHOOT, FERG WAS ON SITE, GIVING NEW IDEAS AND FEEDBACK. IT WAS AN HONOR TO BE ABLE TO CREATE A PIECE OF ART WITH THIS LEGEND.”
NGHTMRE’s momentum is seemingly unstoppable. Of NGHTMRE, A$AP Ferg said,
“NGHTMRE is an amazingly talented producer and DJ. It was a thrill to work with him on this song and video.”
