Alison Wonderland – Peace
Alison Wonderland has been known to actively promote mental health and well being all throughout social media. As seen from many of her songs, music has become her outlet and therapy for even her own struggles. So much so that her 2018 Awake album is all about waking up, making peace, and moving forward. The honesty in her lyrics is the reason why her music is so powerful. It’s hard not to listen to one of her songs and not say, wow I get her! And out now is her latest emotionally charged single, ‘Peace’.
Over stirring melodies and chiming synths, ‘Peace’ is about finding peace through a heartbreak. It’s something about Alison’s raw voice that allows listeners to connect deeply with. “Right now I am barely off of my knees, but someday I’ll find peace.” As seen in the lyrics, it’s okay to acknowledge one’s pain.
