It’s official – Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado is ranked the best outdoor venue in the United States. This ranking comes from Pollstar, known as “the only trade publication dedicated to exclusively covering live events worldwide.” Red Rocks also earned a nomination for an AMCA “Venue of the Year – Medium Capacity” award.
Red Rocks is an absolutely breathtaking venue, tucked into the side of a mountain. It offers a variety of outdoor activities, ranging from yoga flows, to fitness meetups, to “Film on the Rocks.” Red Rocks also consistently has some of the most incredible concert lineups in the United States, no matter the season. Something extremely appealing about this venue is the variety of artists that it hosts. Another very special thing about Red Rocks is that it is certainly a venue for people of all ages.
However, it is no secret that electronic music shows are absolutely next-level at Red Rocks. The lights, production opportunity, and overall sound quality in this venue are extraordinary. Some notable electronic artists who will perform this upcoming year include Rezz, Zeds Dead and San Holo. The exciting thing? The closer we get to summer, the more announcements we will hear about other artists performing at Red Rocks.
