Moon Willis – Trouble
2018 was a good year for the London based DJ/Record Producer, Moon Willis. The young producer saw a steady stream of success through releases like ‘Gone‘ Ft. Levi, and ‘On Me‘ Ft. Jenay Faith.
Having spent the last 6 years grafting behind the scenes with heavyweight artists, he’s managed to carve out his own sound. In this time, Moon has also been busy collaborating with the next generation of talent. These are artists that you may recognize, such as Avelino, Feder, and Elderbrook.
The year is now 2019, and we are finally getting a taste of Moon Willis in this new year. If you haven’t heard his new track yet, you’re in for some “trouble”. ‘Trouble‘ is an up-tempo house track, which features a pretty gnarly gospel vocal, which he found on an old Daptone Records song. The instrumental is pretty, dope, and exactly what you would expect from a UK House track.
Moon Willis is definitely building his case as a new light in the UK landscape, as he continues to display his unique sound and style. Already having co-signs from artists such as Paul Woolford, Todd Edwards, Ishi, Disciples, and Duke Dumont, Moon Willis is definitely one to look out for in 2019. His new track ‘Trouble’ is out now on Astralwerks, and can be streamed below, enjoy.
