Ja Rule Rule Talks About Possibly Throwing A Future Festival
If you are familiar with the failed Fyre Festival, then I’m sure you know the names Ja Rule and Billy McFarland all too well. They originally had plans to throw the worlds best music festival, however that never happened. There were numerous lawsuits filed and even a couple of documentaries about the whole ordeal. There is even a spoof film being made.
TMZ recently caught up with Ja Rule outside of the Los Angeles International Airport and had a quick conversation with him about the failed Fyre Festival. He was asked whether or not he had seen either of the documentaries to which he replied he had not. They also asked him if he can laugh about it all now that it’s passed but he says it’s not funny, but rather heartbreaking to him.
They go on and start talking about a possible Fyre Fest 2.0, and Ja had the following to say:
“It is the most iconic music festival that never was…. so I have plans to create the iconic music festival”
He ended the impromptu interview with:
“but you didn’t hear it from me hahaha”
He then quickly walked away.
It will be interesting to see if and how this iconic music festival he speaks of goes about, but if his second foray into the world of music festivals is as entertaining as his first, we’ll definitely be on the lookout. I’m sure he will be talking about it on Twitter. You can check out the full interview here.
