Above & Beyond Announce ‘Group Therapy Weekender’ Festival

“This has been one of the best moments of my life.” “I couldn’t have imagined something so amazing in my wildest dreams.” “The love, the music, the scenery. It’s literally like nothing I’ve ever experienced.” People who I’d met at the Gorge Amphitheater back in September of 2017 boasted these exact words after an extraordinary weekend.

The event that had just taken place was Above & Beyond’s milestone celebration of their 250th episode of Group Therapy. The feelings of overwhelming joy and the dread of nostalgia were palpable amongst every attendee. I remember thinking, “I wish we could just do this all over again.”

Fast forward to today. After teasing fans about a possible return to this same Gorge, Above & Beyond officially announced that on July 27th and 28th, they would be making their triumphant return to one of the world’s most incredible natural venues in Washington State. Not only will the beloved trio be returning, but they’ll be bringing the best and brightest from Anjuna.

“The ABGT milestone shows will continue to make their way around the world, giving fans in different locations the chance to experience them. But we couldn’t let that stop us from coming back to The Gorge, our new spiritual home.  By creating this new ‘Group Therapy Weekender’ we hope, with your help, to recapture the same magic at this incredible venue.”

The event, although not a milestone Group Therapy celebration, will have the same theme as last time. The event is called “Group Therapy Weekender”, and plans to feature the best in Anjunabeats AND Anjunadeep. For ABGT 250, the first day featured the high energy trance artists while the second featured the best from the deep side (along with a special yoga set).

The lineup is not out just yet, but if you want a good idea of what to expect, make sure to check out the 250 lineup. For those of you like me that’ll be sure to attend round two at the Gorge, pre-sale opens at 1pm ET, 10am PT on Wednesday, February 6th. You can sign up here.

For those of you still on the fence, trust me when I tell you, Anjuna at the Gorge was the best musical experience of my life, and I can bet the second time around will be even better.
