We’re in our second week of 2019 and everyone seems to have a New Year’s resolution in place. Many have goals to travel somewhere new or lose some extra weight but songwriter Mike Posner has something else in mind. Just recently, Posner tweeted a shocking announcement that he would be setting out on a walk across America. While many fans wanted new music news, most are curious on his future journey.
If all goes to plan, Posner will start his walk March 1, 2019. He said he will start somewhere near the Atlantic Ocean and end at the Pacific Ocean. For example, he may start in New York or Florida and in end in Los Angeles or San Fransisco, unless he somehow goes all the way to Hawaii! Additionally, he acknowledged that the walk would take most of the year writing, “The Journey will take me most of my 31st year.” As crazy as this all sounds, maybe walking across the country will be the next new trend. It sounds like something out of Forest Gump but hopefully, Posner spreads his journey out safely!
Lastly, if you’re looking to start your own walk across America, look no further. Posner ended his tweet welcoming anyone to join him at any time during his walk! We can’t think of a better way to get some exercise and see the sights of our country. We all wish Mike the best of luck on his journey!
