Purveyor of ‘Gud Vibrations’ NGHTMRE & the eclectic live EDM duo Big Gigantic are two names that really don’t need much of an introduction. After a brief period of silence since putting out his collaboration with the Chainsmokers, NGHTMRE is back again with Big Gigantic on a superb genre-bending anthem in “Like That”.
Like that is one of those songs that catches you off guard. Like really really off guard. The song starts with a very funky saxophone intro coupled with an amazing vocal and it builds up into this super funky sax filled drop that’s sure to get those jazz hands moving. After a short break & build up after the 1st drop, we are treated to a NGHTMRE signature bass filled 2nd drop that is sure to make you go ‘Woah’. Unexpected? Completely. Worth it? Heck yeah! This song is the true definition of genre-bending. A masterful combination of Jazz, Hip Hop, Bass & a vintage vocal line, ‘Like That’ makes me wish there were more songs like that. With GRiZ already pumping out amazing funk electronic tracks, we are on board with this new genre.
