New Horizons Announces Major Lazer as First Headliner of 2019
Ever since Diplo revealed that the end of Major Lazer was near, fans all over the world started to wonder when and where their last performances were going to take place. Today, it has been made public that one of Major Lazer’s last shows will be at the next edition of New Horizons Festival, to be held between August 21st and August 25th at the Nürburgring, in Germany. Surely this unforgettable gig will be the only one in that country for the year.
Major Lazer are the first headliners announced for New Horizons 2019. This doesn’t only assure them an exclusive time slot, but also comes with a great deal of responsibilities. In the past, New Horizons brought top notch artists such as Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki, Tiësto and Hardwell. Though the rest of the lineup has yet to be announced, we can say that it’ll be full of stars.
Since its beginning in 2017, New Horizons has progressively become a world-renowned electronic dance music festival. Their impressive 2018 edition gathered more than 70,000 party goers and included the likes of Axwell /\ Ingrosso and Marshmello. 2019 looks even more promising, and we can’t wait to see more.
