It’s that time of the year again where everyone is stuffing their bellies with food and planning out new years resolutions for 2019. One of the biggest NYE festivals is the annual Decadence Festival that takes place in Denver, Colorado. EDM lovers from all over the world will be traveling into the elevated city to shred some slopes as well as dance the weekend away. Hosted by Global Dance, AEG Presents, and Live Nation, this year’s festival will be a 2 day event taking place on December 30th and 31st at the Colorado Convention Center. The festival will run from 6:30pm to 3:00am each day so prepare for two nights of madness.

1. Skrillex
There is no question that one of the biggest draws of this year’s Decadence is the dubstep king, Skrillex. After a long hiatus from performing to produce music in the studio, Skrillex has finally slowly began touring again. With a bunch of new music on the verge of being released, his set at Decadence will definitely be legendary. He has always been known to throw down some of the craziest headbanging sets at festivals and venues around the world and this time will be no different. Just remember to keep your ears open for possible never before heard music as you jam the night away.
2. Illenium
Illenium has had a stellar year in 2018 with countless hit releases. His success in his music comes from the passion he injects into his productions. He recently just completed his Awake 2.0 tour where he incorporated a variety of live instruments into his performance which only demonstrates his raw musical talent. His mellow vibes and hit vocal tracks will have you swaying with your friends into the new year so be sure to catch his set on the 31st.
3. Above & Beyond
This year’s Decadence is infused by a variety of trance and dubstep acts to diversify your experience. We already have down Skrillex to fill all your dubstep needs but when it comes to trance, there is no better performance than that of Above & Beyond. The DJ group consisting of Paavo Siljamaki, Tony McGuinness and Jono Grant have taken their magical trance music to everywhere in the world leaving their fans tearing in awe. There is something indescribable about Above & Beyond’s performances that really speak to their fans so make sure to check them out for yourself.
4. Alison Wonderland
Alison Wonderland has been one of the biggest break-through artists of 2018. Her latest album which dropped earlier this year features collabs with Chief Keef and Trippie Redd so you know you will get all your hip-hop needs. She recently teased her new collaboration with Dillon Francis during her EDC Orlando set and you can very well expect her to drop it again at Decadence.
5. Ilan Bluestone
Ilan Bluestone has solidified himself as one of the biggest acts in trance music in recent times. However, as shocking as it may be, this is just the very beginning for him. Bluestone has a huge 2019 in store with the announcement of a huge world tour as well as a bunch of new music. With that all being said, this performance on the NYE will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of this year’s festival. We might be even blessed to hear some of his new unreleased music he has in store for 2019.

Located in the heart of Denver’s metropolis, you won’t be able to miss the iconic Colorado Convention Center. The venue is within walking distance of the light rail, certain bus lines and a multitude of hotels. There will be a coat check located conveniently in the main lobby. The weather in Denver can easily drop down to 10-20 degrees Fahrenheit at night so do consider bringing a heavy coat.
