Morgan Page & Swanky Tunes- Collusion
I swear, just the other day I wondered to myself, “I haven’t heard a new Morgan Page song in a while”. It’s almost like he heard me. Today, the ‘In The Air’ maestro teamed up with Russian trio Swanky Tunes for a new electro house banger called ‘Collusion’. It’s been a relatively quiet year for Page, with only a couple releases in 2018. But this new one sends us back to those old 2013 big room feels. The track also sees its release on Armin’s Armada label.
‘Collusion’ showcases both Page and Swanky Tunes’ styles quite well. The song starts off with a tranquil melody with a light vocal sample to give it some character. As the song builds, you expect a progressive, upbeat drop. However, the drop kicks in with a dark and grimy synths giving this track a big room feel. The feel from this song really does feel like you’re at a Hardwell set from five years ago. Nonetheless this track bangs and I’m sure we’ll be hearing it many sets to come.
