ZABO – Breathe
Today we bring you the next big thing out of Canada by the name of ZABO. His music is an anomaly in the current scene of dance music designed specifically to perform well on streaming platforms such as Spotify. The Toronto native’s sound is one of a kind due to his eerily characteristic sound palette.
‘Breathe‘ has a goose bump inducing intro thanks to the calm vocals perfectly setting up the rest of the track and the normalcy is quickly shattered with a suspenseful rise. When the drop hits you smack across the face, you aren’t sure if you should be terrified or bobbing your head along. The synths are so jarring and discordant that your brain is sent into a state of panic and confusion; somehow they make it work delivering a track that will be heard in sets that are on the experimental side of bass music. ZABO set out to create tracks entirely out of the realm of norm and this one surely hits the mark. Once the drop hits his cut puts you under its spell.
