YouTube Will Now Sell Tickets On Music Videos Using Eventbrite Ticketing Service

As the world of technology continues to be more present in everyone’s lives, YouTube has recently announced that they are extending its ticketing initiative. The goal is to create an even more user-friendly experience.

Towards the end of last year, the American video-sharing website had teamed up with Ticketmaster. The agreement was to sell concert tickets on the site’s video pages, powered by Ticketmaster’s listings.

Recently, they have confirmed that they will be collaborating with the well-known U.S.-based event management and ticketing website Eventbrite. As the new partnership continues to develop, YouTube has declined to confirm the elements of the deal’s terms. Not much information has been revealed as to how the ticket sale revenue was shared.

Although these aspects are uncertain, other elements have been confirmed. Users will see Eventbrite listings for live music performances across the U.S. when viewing clips via YouTube’s official artist channels.

Scroll down beneath the videos, and fans will have the opportunity to click on a “Tickets” icon. They will then be redirected to make related ticket purchases. This time-saving feature will be available in YouTube’s official app, and on its desktop.
