Probably one of our worst nightmares has become a reality in the past hour or so as people all over the world are unable to access YouTube. Currently, it is impossible to load the website on all platforms including mobile devices, smart TVs, and laptops. Thousands of users set to Twitter, only to find that they were not alone. “#YouTubeDOWN” is now trending on social media leaving us wondering when this outage will be resolved.

YouTube tweeted a statement that they are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. No one seems to know the source of the outage but it could be anything from a hack, to a simple error on their servers. While YouTube is working to bring your favorite videos back online, take a breather outside and life will be back to normal shortly!
