With the Amsterdam Dance Event drawing in such massive crowds, there were bound to be some hiccups here and there. At the Amsterdam Music Festival this past Saturday, Cali-native KSHMR fell victim to some technical difficulties. During KSHMR’s AMF set, he apparently could not get the correct track to play. He expressed his apology to fans via social media:
AMF thank you, not sure what happened, every time I picked a song it started playing a different one. Sorry I couldn’t give u the full show

It’s a pretty crappy thing to happen at such a high-profile event. Taking place at Amsterdam’s famed Johan Cruijff Arena, AMF 2018 featured the likes of Axwell/\Ingrosso, W&W, Lost Frequencies, Vini Vici, and the entertaining Salvatore Ganacci. KSHMR was apparently the only one who suffered from these audio issues.
Good friend and fellow performing artist Lost Frequencies offered up a sympathetic word and hopeful fix:
I had it once, it was when i updated my usb on another laptop ! Maybe that was the problem ?

Moral of the story? No matter how big we get, sometimes even the smallest things can go wrong. All signs point to the fact that KSHMR still absolutely crushed his set, so all’s well that ends well.
KSHMR was recently voted #18 in the controversial DJ Mag Top-100 poll. He is also in the heart of the North American leg of “The Giant Tour” after finishing up in Asia. You can next catch him at Escape: Psycho Circus in San Bernardino.
Check out his most recent single ‘Good Vibes Soldier’ below on Spotify. Don’t worry – no technical difficulties expected.
