Today is iPhone day, but the cat’s out of the bag already. Apple’s website reportedly leaked crucial details hours before Apple CEO Tim Cook is expected to announce a new set of iPhone Xs. As Apple controls roughly 45% of the US market share for smart phone users, these leaks are certainly making the rounds online.
The names were spotted in a product sitemap XML file hosted on Apple.com. This sitemap revealed the names as XS, XS Max, and XR.
The XS is reportedly a follow-up to last year’s iPhone X and will become Apple’s new flagship smartphone. As the name might reveal, the XS Max is basically a larger version of the XS. Lastly, the XR is the more cost effective option, supposedly starting at $699 in the US.
As for storage capacity the sitemap reveals the XR will have three storage options: 64, 128, and 256GB. The XR will also be available in six colors: black, yellow, red, white, coral, and blue.
Stay tuned for the official reveal coming at 1pm EST.
