LSD- Thunderclouds (feat. Labrinth, Sia, & Diplo)
How in the world does Diplo have the time to do all these projects? The mega-star DJ has been busy at work touring and making music under different monikers. His newest project (no, not Silk City), LSD, goes in a much different direction but still has a fresh flavor to it. The group is comprised of Diplo, UK singer Labrinth, and pop star Sia. Their new single, ‘Thunderclouds’, dropped today and needless to say, it’s quite different than what we usually expect from Diplo.
‘Thunderclouds’ proves Diplo is no one trick pony. The track kicks off with Sia’s smooth vocals over a mellow electric guitar. The vibe basically throws you back to the 80’s on a beach. Enter the drum beat in the background and you officially have a revamped Beach Boys sounding record. Overall the track is catchy and smooth with aesthetically pleasing vocals. If you need a down tempo, chill track to vibe out to, LSD just provided the right song for you.
