It seems as though one can’t escape Sacha Baron Cohen‘s new Showtime series, Who Is America. Like the British actor’s movies and TV shows, the new politically charged episodes are full of controversy and shocking moments. Recently, Scottish DJ Hudson Mohawke has gifted the world by releasing the full EDM troll track created specifically for an episode of the new Showtime series. Let’s just say, it’s larger than life!
For those who are still unfamiliar with the show, the Borat-creator himself has taken on electronic dance music culture and nightclubs in a special segment where he plays Ricky Sherman, better-known as DJ 5olitary. The character is showcased as a bald ex-convict who tries to make the transition from prison and bring forth his experiences into a booming producing career which is highlighted in the episode.
To everyone’s surprise, this unlikely DJ lands a set at the Sway Nightclub in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida thanks to the help of a clueless producer.
Giving back to society by letting you download my song for free. Thanks to the lads on G Wing for giving their support and lives to this project – Rick AKA DJ 5OLITARY. https://t.co/S7uX6gpLKV

Hudson Mohawke created a special mix using “prison samples”. From there, the hilariously wonderful track ‘Cell-by-date‘ was born and unleashed on stage.
If this masterpiece wasn’t enough to satisfy all of your fake-producer wannabe aspirations, maybe the fact that DJ 5olitary has also created an official Twitter account. Seriously, we’re not joking. Check it out here.
