Usually when we say a show was “lit”, we mean that the set was absolutely incredible.
But this time around, we mean it in the most literal sense intended. Although this may sound like a story straight out of Burning Man, it actually happened at Lollapalooza in Paris this past weekend. Yup, that’s right. While the world was focused on Tomorrowland all weekend, Lollapalooza also took place in Paris, France. The Gorillaz, Diplo, Excision, Dillon Francis, Ekali, RL Grime, and Ghastly, were all featured on the lineup. Although smaller than the Chicago edition, both the European and South American Lolla still manage to draw an impressive crowd.
During RL Grime’s set this past Saturday, naturally, fans got a mosh pit going. As the beat dropped to his massive hit ‘Core‘, the mosh pit split up, and the crowd surrounded the floor ablaze. It appears that fans got a firework or road flare and started a small bonfire in the midst of crowd. Although it doesn’t look safe at all, and we definitely don’t recommend doing it, it does look pretty unreal.
