Ibranovski – Ghetto Mainstream 4 The Hood Philosophy
Dutch DJ Adi H Ibrahimovic, better know as Ibranovski, is no new name to the dance music world. With releases under Spinnin’, Revealed, Mixmash, Universal and Smash The House, Ibranovski created his path as a big room producer before inventing his own genre. It was in 2016 when he created his house-influenced genre “Ghetto Mainstream” which eventually led to him releasing on CONFESSION. Now, he continues to spread his signature sound with his newest EP Ghetto Mainstream 4 The Hood Philosophy.
The two track EP perfectly fits on CONFESSION with its deep vocal splices and driving percussive house beat – resembling the sounds of Habstrakt, Dombresky and Malaa. Track 1 entitled ‘Symmetry‘ is wild, animalistic and very upbeat. Filled with plenty of vocal samples and syncopated rhythms, the energy of the track stays sky high from beginning to end. Track 2, ‘Tic Tac‘, is slightly darker than first track because of a deep vocal sample and a touch more of a ghetto-bounce beat.
The two tracks pair well together and fully define Ibranovski’s sound while leaving us wanting more. Take a listen to it below.
