The summer festival season is upon us and we’d like to take a minute to prepare you for what’s to come June 8-10 for Splash House 2018. As the first multi-venue pool party/music festival, that smooth summer vibe with bouncy synths is here to shake your butts at this year’s reiteration in Palm Springs, CA. Shuttle between the Saguaro, Renaissance, and Riviera hotels located adjacent to each other for easy transport. There’s no better, stress free festival!
Here are some things to know:
Tickets
Tickets start at $135 and After Hours tickets start at $40. Only a limited number of tickets are still available. Hotel packages are now sold out. It’s best to grab tickets before it’s too late and you’re spending the weekend binge watching Netflix. You can grab tickets here.
Music
Some of the greatest talent in deep house, tech house, bass and good ol’ house will entertain this weekend. Headliners for June include Duke Dumont, What So Not, Zhu’s Blacklizt party, a DJ set from Dusky, and many more artists. Splash on the rainbow pool decks at the Saguaro. Enjoy the panorama mountain views at the Renaissance or rage with the bass oasis at Riviera. With a crowd between late 20s and 30s, everyone you meet is there for the same reason. Converse and make friends, all are welcome!
The Heat
Palm Springs gets hot so expect high temperatures and warm nights. This is your reminder to stay hydrated! Dress to impress in bikinis, trunks, and flip fops. But don’t forget high SPF sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a fan, but most importantly, water! Misters and water will be available throughout the hotels, but it helps to be prepared as well.
The Pools
Expect a crowd at every hotel so make sure to get there early and mark your territory! Whether it’s a towel, drink, or a huge unicorn floatie in the pool, find a good spot! Once you hear the music start, you won’t want to get funneled out. Don’t forget to wear your festival wristband upon entry to each hotel pool during the weekend. Prepare yourselves for the chaos and body heat! Which will be the hotel you party rock the hardest at? Just follow that epic lineup and let your body do the rest.
Shuttles will be running between the Saguaro and the Renaissance and between the Renaissance and the Riviera between the hours of noon and 9:00 PM. Those wishing to travel between the Riviera and the Saguaro will need to catch a ride at the Renaissance and switch shuttle lines. No more need to drive back and forth from each hotel as parking gets full. Want to continue the party afterwards downtown? The shuttles will continue into the night as well for plenty of after party opportunities.
The official Splash House After Hours party will be taking place at The Palm Springs Air Museum on Friday and Saturday night from 9PM-2AM. This venue is amazing at night with the runway lit up and a huge open space for all to dance the night away. Nora En Pure starts the weekend off Friday night with a deep, yet sultry set. Autograf, SNBRN, Touch Sensitive, Kideko, and Codes will be playing throughout the weekend as well.
