The World Cup is officially almost here with a little over 30 days to go until kick off in Russia. With it comes a plethora of songs in celebration of the occasion from artists all around the globe. The American Spanish-language giant media company Telemundo has produced its own anthem for their coverage, an unseen collaboration between Haitian-born producer Michael Brun and Colombian born Reggaeton mega star J Balvin who has been taking the world by storm.
The song is called ‘Positivo‘ and the instrumental may sound very familiar to many. That’s because it’s the same one as Michael Brun’s track ‘Bayo’, but this time around Balvin added some lyrics to reflect the hopeful good energy soccer fans are feeling around the world. Not to mention the track features a tons of vuvuzela sounds, which is heard in just about every soccer stadium around the globe. ‘Positivo’ is out now on UMG Recordings, check it out below and stay tuned for the World Cup!
