Last we heard from Gorillaz, we had found out that Damon Albarn, the principal songwriter for the band, had accidentally left behind his laptop in the back of a taxi. The biggest issue was that the laptop had actually contained a master copy of a brand new album The Now Now in it’s entirety that the band had been working on. The news left fans intrigued though, wondering what exactly the new project is.
Well, now they have gone ahead and given us a glimpse of what’s to come in the form of a few posters that were happened to be found around London’s All Points East Festival.
On top of that it looks like the band has gone ahead and reveal that the wait for the new release won’t be too much as they are looking to drop it late June.

Other than that not much else has been yet revealed about the project but with a release date of next month it’s only a matter of time before we start seeing more info come out.
What do you guys think? Are you excited to hear what the band has in store for their 6th album? As always once we hear more about the project, we’ll be sure to keep everyone updated on it.
