Unless you’re living under a rock you know that EDC 2018 kicked off last night and by all accounts it was an amazing night. One of the first night sets included Porter Robinson’s Virtual Self project performing on one of the biggest stages yet. The EDC Circuit Grounds proved to be the perfect testing ground for new material.
Virtual Self unveiled the new edit through his Technic Angel persona on the screens. ‘Ghost Voices’ Version 2 is much more of that DDR-trance sound that you find in the rest of the Virtual Self material. Just when you think you have it figured out, the drop switches it up and ditches the synthy trance for some bass heavy breaks. We’re sure he’ll be playing this one out more over the rest of festival season. Check it out below.
