VR Streaming Comes to Coachella
For the eighth year in a row, YouTube will broadcast exclusively Coachella’s live stream this upcoming weekend and the next. Coachella will feature performances from Beyonce, The Weeknd, Kygo, Chromeo, SZA, Vince Staples, ODESZA, Post Malone, The War on Drugs and more.
This year’s Coachella live stream is sponsored by T-Mobile and will offer viewers a choice of four different live stream feeds with different artists being streamed simultaneously on different stages around the festival. Also, this year, viewers can choose from one VR180 channel which will allow viewers a virtual reality stream, as well as a number of other personalized live streams. In addition to being able to watch Coachella 2018 on YouTube this weekend, Google Home will provide a custom voice-enabled experience for festival goers and fans at home watching the live stream.
