Coachella Weekend One was this past weekend and as many of the acts brought their A game, a little trouble erupted nearby. A wildfire broke out on Sunday only 6 miles away from the venue. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the fire was contained by Sunday afternoon after covering 15 acres.
While the wildfire seemed close, authorities stated that it did not pose any fear to the festival and no evacuations or orders needed to be issued. The fire is under investigation as it seems to be man made.
#TylerFire [FINAL UPDATE]: Fire is 100% contained and is 15 acres in size. CAL FIRE Investigators determined the fire was human-caused, however remains under investigation.

Windy conditions did raise some concern, as wind gusts were as high as 70 mph on Sunday. Conditions such as this can make it hard to control a wildfire, however winds are expected to calm down by Monday night. Hopefully, the fire stays confined and controlled as weekend two is coming up.
