It’s been 15 years since Toolroom Records has been in play. The label began in 2003 when emerging DJ/producer Mark Knight and brother Stuart Knight kickstarted it. Now, they are celebrating their 15-year milestone as one of dance music’s most recognizable and truly international independent labels. Making their mark wouldn’t be complete without a statement album. In true Toolroom form, they’ve gone massive.
This album glues together the famous Toolroom sounds of house, tech house, & techno by a whole host of label favorites, friends, and newcomers. The album is constructed with a club-ready ethos and sound Mark Knight has built his career on. ‘Toolroom 15‘ boasts 70 brand new and exclusive tracks.
There is no retrospective reflection of the label’s classic tracks here. Bundled are three full-length mixes which mold and reconstruct these productions. Toolroom proudly presents new material written by House music’s legendary talent including the Knight himself, Booka Shade, Tube & Berger, Weiss, Raumakustik, and many more.
