After celebrating its 20th birthday last year, Shambala Music Festival is hitting the ground running. The Canadian festival held at Salmo River Ranch in British Columbia will take place from August 10th through 13th and features an impressive display of talent. While Rezz and The Glitch Mob were previously announced, the rest of the lineup will give you FOMO before the event even happens.
If you like diversity and quality in a festival lineup, Shambala 2018 is exactly what you’ve been dreaming of. With Mr. Carmack, Liquid Stranger and Black Tiger Sex Machine alongside an equally impressive cast of strange bass and trip hop complimenting Malaa and Destructo‘s dirty G-house vibes, there is sure to be some head banging. If you prefer to move your feet to the beat, Kyle Watson, Justin Martin and Claptone will be sure to hold down the weird house-break beat styles. And what would a festival in 2018 be without the legendary head of the Dirtybird Label Claude VonStroke and his trip hop alter ego Barclay Crenshaw?
