This past Sunday, 28-year-old Jeremiah Chavez, was celebrating his birthday at Club Space in Downtown Miami when suddenly he made frantic phone calls to relatives requesting that they call the FBI because someone was trying to kill him.
Chavez is from Orlando, Florida and had gone to Miami this past weekend with some friends to celebrate his birthday. Chavez left Club Space at approximately 11:45 AM on Sunday morning claiming that he was hungry. His mother, Mary Chavez, received one of the last phone calls from Jeremiah and she reported, “He said that someone was chasing him to kill him and all I saw in that video is he was running for his life.” Another relative, Angel Vera stated, “he called me at work and told me to call the FBI.”
A new report has now just been released stating the Jeremiah has been found. Miami Shores Police found Chavez hiding behind a wall after a disturbance was reported at NE 94th Street and Biscayne Boulevard, which is approximately two hours walking distance from Club Space.
Chavez’s family had driven down to from Orlando to Downtown Miami to help find Jeremiah. Upon the finding of Jeremiah, his mother had the following to say, “they took him out there to celebrate his 28th birthday and for some reason, my son was drugged because that’s not my son. My son is a hardworking person.”
Jeremiah Chavez has been taken into custody and is currently seeking medical treatment.
